Pumpkin Pickin
Zack is getting ready for Halloween and it became apparent that we needed a pumpkin. Jenn heard all about some great pumpkin patches in the Charlotte area so we ventured out to the town of Midland for a great adventure. We arrived at the pumpkin patch and quickly saw that there was so much more to explore than just picking out a pumpkin. They had a tractor that was a huge hit with Zack. He climbed right up and took the steering wheel ready for a little farm work. Soon he spotted some other climbing and sliding opportunities and he was off to see what other trouble he could get into. Some how, he managed to talk his mother into taking him down a huge, bumpy slide. Zack had blast, but mom was a little frightened.
Soon it was time to hop on the hay ride and head out to the pumpkin patch. Zack wasn't really sure what to make of the hay ride and just made sure he had a tight grip on his mother. Once we arrived at the pumpkin patch, Zack quickly set out to find the perfect pumpkin. Soon he found the one that was just right, and we knew it was just right because he couldn't pick it up. After we got our pumpkin we headed back to the hay ride and then back to the farm. All in all it was a good day and fun was had by all.
Pumpkin carving will be next and I am sure that we will have more pictures of Zack's first "masterpiece."

It looks like the entire NC Carroll family had a terrific day! What great memories you are creating! Happy carving!
This is my first comment. I am now official. I'd like to go to the apple orchard next time we are in town because this looked like fun. Maybe we can talk Jenn into it. :)
