Due Date
I know that today is just the Doctor's best guess as to when this kid should pop out, but for some reason the day has taken on a whole new meaning. Normally when I go to the gym in the morning, I leave my phone behind as I work out. Well, not this morning. I found myself constantly checking it to make sure that Jenn had not called me or emailed me to tell me to get my behind home to take her to the hospital. I am sure that this will continue all through out today and until Junior decides to pop out. Between being excited and nervous all at the same time, I can't wait to meet my son or daughter for the first time. Lately I have been looking at children with their parents and silently saying to myself that one day soon I am going to be there with some small life looking to me for security, comfort, advice, and a myriad of different things. I know deep down in my heart and soul that I will be a good father and that Jenn will be one of the greatest mothers of all time, but I really think these things need to come with a manual of some sort or at least a few FAQ's.

Good Luck!!! The little ones definitely have their own time frames.... Can't wait to hear the great news...
Happy Due Date! Abi was born on her due date, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that Junior follows suit :)
CeCe says, Happy Due Date! Capt Papa say, "it wll come when it comes"!........ and we both say you're going to be great parents!!!! Lv Ya
Do not worry, the first is just the experiment child, you'll know when you screw up and fix it the next time around. Oops you were a first weren't you? ;-)
Seriously Wes, you didn't warn me this morning when we were talking that today's blog was going to make me cry. I just have the hardest time accepting the fact that my perfect little boy is going to be a dad. I promise you Wes, since your child will have half your genes s/he will make the job of parenting a snap (Blake's first may be a different story, hehe). Just remember, have a united front in the child's presence so s/he can't work you. If you happen to have a girl first you are sunk, because within the first 60 seconds she will have you wrapped around her little finger and her mother will have to remain the tough one. The final piece of advise is relax and enjoy every second with your little one, you do get to ease into the job of parenting (at least two years) then all hell will break loose!
There no doubt in my mind that the two of you are going to be PERFECT parents. I love you both, Mom/Lettice
