The Details
Only a few days to go and unlike last time, this is not going to be the anticipation circus it was last time around. We still plan to blog and keep all of you up to date with the arrival of Number 2, and pictures as soon as we can. Right now, here is what we know.
Wednesday, March 25, 2009:
0530 EST: Arrive at hospital.
0730 EST: Planned C-Section Begins
???? EST: Number 2 is Born
Some Time Later: We post and upload pictures.
Saturday, March 28, 2009:
1100 EST: Home from the hospital.

What is his name going to be?
We haven't met him yet, so we don't know.
What is on the short list of names?
Have you been making a list? Neither have we. No list. We need to meet him. (OK, so we do have a list, but I'm not sharing :P)
Can you tell me anything about the name?
Yes, his last name will be Carroll.
Now that you have two boys, are you going to try for a girl?
Your guess is as good as mine. We need to get through this one first.
Is Julie going to take time off of work to be there for the birth?
No. She just doesn't care that much about this. Ok, that isn't the truth. The truth is that a lot will be going on in the morning and for her to take time off to possibly see the new child is stupid. This is her busy season and she needs to do what works best for her. She will be coming by the hospital after work when she can have some time to spend and not have to rush off.
Will you call me first when the baby is born?
No. I have been told that my first call is to my Mother-in-law. After that it is a toss up. Let me know if you want to be called by emailing me at wcarroll@oceanbeachlife.com with name and number.

No Katie!!!!! I honestly had no control over it... I didn't end up going anyway. I just wasn't feelin' the urge to drag my big ol' belly there :)

Just to set the record straight, I am dying to be there and I wish I could take the rest of this week off. However, I don't really think my firm would be very understanding considering the fact that as of this second, we have 22 days, 14 hours, 54 minutes and 52 seconds until midnight on 4/15. I don't think my clients would be very happy either ;). So I've arranged my schedule for the week to only work 8 hours on Wednesday so I can visit the new bundle of joy and the proud parents! I can tell you that it will be very hard to concentrate tomorrow, but only 8 hours of work and a reward at the end of the day will be totally worth it! Wishing you the best Jenn!
Me, Me, Me ~ Don't forget to call me please! Since I will be in charge of your wild tornado (your eldest - I doubt he wants to sit in the hospital waiting room) We want to know asap!
I will be very patient and wait to hear all the good news so those more important than I can get all the news first. I just want to note what a patient and fabulous friend I am.

Hi Jennifer and Wes . . We will be watching the blog every 10 minutes tomorrow for the announcement, the picture, and the name!!! Have a great day tomorrow welcoming your new baby boy. We are with you Julie, we can not stand not being there but I am very glad that we are on the top of the call list. Jenn & Wes, our love and thoughts are with you during this very exciting time. We will be waiting for the call. Can't wait to see the little bundle of joy on Friday night. You don't care what time we plow into the hospital on Friday night do you????? Don't worry...it will be a reasonable time...I hope!
